Terms and Conditions
- All room rates advertised on the website (hyecroft.com) and all receipts issued remain exclusive of Goods and Services Tax. The owners of Hyecroft Lodge are not registered for GST.
- No cancellation fees are charged. Payment in full is required, either by cash upon arrival, or by bank transfer. Transfers are required to be settled within 48 hours. If no transferred payment has been received by that time the property owners will consider your booking cancelled and the room will be re-let.
- Check-in time is from 2pm to 7pm on the day of arrival, and check-out time is by 10am on the day of departure. Check-in times, outside those advised, are at the discretion of the property owners. Please advise the property owners of any change to your proposed check-in times.
- Instructions for property access can be found on our website homepage by tapping on “info & access”. You will receive the current gate code with either your payment receipt or reservation confirmation. The gate code and the remote are for the access requirements of guests only, use by any other party is at the discretion of the property owners.
- A complimentary continental breakfast is available to all guests and is served each day in the dining room of the main house from 8am to 9am. Gluten & dairy free alternatives are available for guests who give advance notice of their requirements.
- For the safety and comfort of all guests smoking, vaping, and the use of non-prescribed drugs is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the buildings and within the grounds of the property.
- Bringing pets onto the property is not allowed.
- The maximum occupancy of each room is two people and all guests must be over 18 years of age.
- Visitations by other persons to guests are at the discretion of the property owners.
- 10pm-7am is considered “quiet time”. It is an expectation that guests will keep sound levels within their rooms to a minimal level during those hours.
- Guests are solely responsible for their motor vehicles and all their personal belongings during their stay. The property owners shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or theft of any motor vehicle or from any motor vehicle or of the personal belongings of any guest during their stay at the property.
- Guests are expected to use all amenities and facilities provided with care and in accordance with any instructions given by the property owners. Any damage caused to amenities or facilities due to negligence or misuse by the guests may incur charges for repair or replacement.
- The property owners shall not be liable for any injuries or accidents or medical emergencies or any costs that might be associated with those events or medical treatment which might be required for any of those events which may occur on the property during their stay.
- Guests are expected to keep the accommodation reasonably tidy during their stay. Cleaning services, rubbish removal, fresh linen or towels are available upon request.
- Guests must comply with all laws, local laws, and regulations and bylaws during their stay.
- Guests acknowledge and consent to the property owners’ use of CCTV, specific to the monitoring of the shared parking areas and building entrances of Hyecroft Lodge. All monitoring follows New Zealand privacy law and is automatically deleted after 7 days.
- “Force majeure” – The property owners shall not be liable for circumstances caused by events beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, internet or electricity outages, road closures or workers strikes.
- By booking and staying at Hyecroft Lodge, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions. The property owners reserve the right to amend or update these terms and conditions as necessary. It is the responsibility of the guests to stay informed about any changes.
DEFINITIONS
- Property owners meaning the owners of the property and the hosts of the guests during their stay.
- Guests meaning the persons who have booked to stay at the property, who have paid the accommodation fee, and who have read and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.
- Property means the lands, buildings and chattels situated at 52 Acacia Drive, Raumanga, Whangarei, New Zealand.
- Fees means those funds of money charged by the property owners and which are payable by the guests for their stay at the property.
- Stay means the period during which the guests have booked and have paid for their accommodation at the property.
